Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

As outlined in our Privacy Policy, we collect Personal Information when you interact with our Website or Services, some of which may be considered Consumer Health Data. This includes Biometric Information obtained from an image of your face that you provide as a Donor or Intended Parent[, or that your clinician submits on your behalf].

Any Consumer Health Data we collect is used to provide or improve the Services, for purposes permitted by applicable law, and for other purposes with your consent. Providing or improving the Services may include:

• Creating a Donor Profile; and
• Personalizing and tailoring the Intended Parents’ donor search process.

We do not share your Consumer Health Data with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or with your additional consent. We may disclose Consumer Health Data to the following categories of third parties:

• (If you are a Donor) The Clinic you are donating to and the Intended Parents searching at that Clinic
• Service providers (such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure) that help us manage, develop, and improve the Services. Such providers may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) to process your Consumer Health Data for the purpose of providing certain features of the Services. Your Consumer Health Data will not be used to train AI. We also require our service providers to appropriately safeguard the privacy and security of the Consumer Health Data we disclose to them.

EDC respects your rights associated with your Consumer Health Data, which may include requesting:

• Confirmation of whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your Consumer Health Data;
• A list of third parties with whom we have shared your Consumer Health Data; and
• Deletion of or withdrawal of consent to collect or share your Consumer Health Data.
